Ippei Matsukami

Born in 1985, Ippei Matsukami is a violin maker who pursues his own style that is not bound by tradition. After graduating from violin making school, Ippei worked as a repairer in Tokyo. Since 2011, he has been running his own work shop.

In 2012, he won ” Simone Fernando Sacconi prize ” (Gold medal to the worthiest under 30 competitor) at the Antonio Stradivari violin making Competition in Cremona.
