
Eric Fournier
Bow Maker
Eric Fournier was born in 1985 in Quimper, France. At the age of 11 he discovered violin making and began spending summers in violin workshops. Years later, in 1998, Stéphane Muller introduced him to the world of bow making and he never looked back. For over 10 years, he has worked with prestigious bow makers throughout France and Europe.
Fournier has won many awards in international competitions including two gold medals at the 2010 Violin Society of America Competition, and a prize at the Concours International de la Ville de Paris in 2011. Since 2013, he has worked in his own workshop.

2010: Violin Society of America Competition, merit certificates and 2 gold medals

2014: VSA: 1 certificates of merit (violin) & 3 gold medals (viola, cello, double bass)
2015: Meilleur ouvrier de France.
