Andrea Zanre | Eliza Scrollavezza
Elisa Scrollavezza and Andrea Zanrè dedicate themselves to the making of fine string instruments in their Parma atelier and are also devoted to publishing, historical research and dealing. Both benefited from the teaching of Renato Scrollavezza, Elisa’s father, an internationally renowned luthier and founder of the Parma School of violin making.
The making of new instruments following the tradition of Emilia-Romagna remains their principal activity and over the years is gaining increasing consent, with the result that Scrollavezza & Zanrè instruments are today highly esteemed by musicians and collectors in many parts of the world.
Their studio promoted the great exhibition held in the Parma National Gallery on occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Giovanni Battista Guadagnini, and subsequently started an internationally acknowledged publishing activity.
Scrollavezza & Zanrè are furthermore members of the Entente Internationale des Luthiers et Archetiers and their research has been presented in prestigious venues such as the Museo del Violino, Cremona, and featured on The Strad Magazine.
