Michele was born in 1967 in Vicenza, Italy. After completing his artistic studies, he attended a course to become a violin maker at the Milan School. Since 1997, after some experience restoring instruments in Madrid, he is based in the town of the classic ‘Golden Age’ of luthiers, Cremona.
His priority is to focus on improving the sound of his own work as well as of the instruments that are brought to his workshop for restoration or set-up.
Awards : 2008 VSA competition, Portland Oregon – two silver medals for cello and quartet
2009-2012 finalist with cello at the Cremona Triennale competition
Michele is also a teacher in the Milan school of violin making since 2016.
