In my approach to making instruments of the classical period I emphasize creating similar conditions to those under which these masterworks came to life. Therefore it is fundamentally important to work with only a few intelligently shaped tools, constantly improving the skill in using those, in order to arrive at an instrument with a soul, that breathes, and that pleases eye and ear.
