Nathaniel Rowan has been making instruments since 1993. He started his studies at the Redwing school and then went on to apprentice in Salt Lake City with several former students and teacher of the school there. He spent fourteen years in New York City where he worked for William Monical and Son and David Segal Violins doing repairs, specializing in tonal restorations and adjustments.

His instruments are enjoyed by professional musicians across the country and internationally. Nathaniel now makes his home in Southern Vermont with his family.
