I began making bows after attending the bow making course at the University of New Hampshire in 1990 under the instruction of Bill Salchow. Previous to that I made my living as a land surveyor and civil engineering technician. Bow making has been a challenging and rewarding occupation. I have attended the summer bow making workshop at Oberlin College every year since 1996. The workshop has been invaluable for me in gaining insights into this elusive craft. I recently finished my 500th bow. My workshop is in St. Paul, Minnesota.
